To combat the further spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the internet, Web-IQ has joined the WePROTECT Global Alliance to increase global impact and collaboratively make the world a better place.

The WePROTECT Global Alliance brings together the knowledge, experience and influence to transform the global response to child sexual exploitation and abuse online. The Alliance and its members share frameworks, tools, experience and effective practices to accelerate the response to this ever-evolving threat. The Alliance is currently made up of 98 governments, 50 private sector companies, 49 civil society organisations and 9 international organisations.

Web-IQ and WePROTECT will work closely together in projects that gain insights in the online spread of CSAM with the objective to delete this harmful content and prevent revictimization. In addition, Web-IQ strives to generate new identification labels to law enforcement by using remote analysis technology that is being developed by Web-IQ towards the summer of 2021.

Web-IQ believes that law enforcement agencies should have the best online intelligence tools and data available to help them in their fight against serious crimes. Web-IQ is also part of the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT) and partners successfully with the Dutch Expertise Centre of Online Sexual Child Abuse (EOKM) in fighting CSAM online that is published on the Internet using Dutch data centres.

We are convinced that the knowledge available in this alliance will lead to even more powerful and result driven technology and will amplify the results to a global level. It will help us to reach our goal to make the world a better place.
Eldert van Wijngaarden, CEO of Web-IQ
